"Susan" is actually the first in the "Flower Fairies" series. I was inspired to start this series after my 3-year-old little girl brought me a handful of black-eyed susans that she had picked all by herself (thank goodness these grow wild as she has been known to pick gorgeous flowers, but from our neighbors' gardens).
